Description: One of 3 "A-line" plate transformers (they were used in a
3-phase HV circuit). 197-240V, single phase, primary and
1170/1395/1620V multiple tapped secondary with the highest
voltage tap rated at no less than 2 amps continuous current!
This is a massive transformer at about 200 pounds so is a
local pickup is preferred although I may be persuaded to meet
a buyer within 150 miles of Reno, NV. As a part of this deal
I will include a pair of solid state rectifiers with sockets
(plug-in replacements for 8008's) rated at 10kv prv at 5 amps
peak and 1.25 amps continuous. This should give you the start
of a nice doubler circuit. I will also throw in a 5kv plate
voltage meter (1ma movement) with the 5 megohm, cartridge
style, metering resistor. I am asking $150.00 for this item
but would very much like to trade for a decent, older,
2-meter multimode rig!
