Question #1: Why Won't MY PC Recognize MY Nuvi? Make sure that you have downloaded the proper drivers to communicate with your Nuvi. Question #2: My PC Used to Recognize My Nuvi and Now it Doesn't. Why? If you have a PIN assigned to your Nuvi, the Nuvi will not reach the PC to Nuvi communications subroutine until after you enter your PIN. If your touchscreen is non-responsive, and your unit is stuck at the map update screen, then your PC won't be able to recognize your Nuvi. Again, this is because you must reach the main menu before the PC communications subroutine is reached. (Message edited by admin on July 13, 2011) |
