Ok, you've packed all your bags, turned off the water, had your mail stopped and now your ready to go on that long awaited vacation trip.

You've programmed your Nuvi for your destination and head out on the highway.

All of a sudden, your Nuvi tells you to take the next off ramp and begins taking you through back roads that only Little Red Riding Hood could find.

So, you manage to get back on the highway, travel a few miles and again, your Nuvi tells to to exit the highway.

What is going on? Why is your Nuvi doing this? It's because your Nuvi has been told to avoid highways!

To turn this off, select the "wrench/tools" button at the main menu. Then select "Navigation" and then "Avoidances". Uncheck the checkmark next to the word "Highways" and your Nuvi will no longer attempt to avoid the highways.
