We have recently expanded our repair services and now offer LCD replacement repair for the K-brand V803 and V1003 digital cameras.

If your camera's LCD display no longer functions, we can replace the defective LCD screen for you.

A defective LCD display will exhibit the following characteristics:

  • A completely dark display.
  • A dim display (bad backlight).
  • The screen will be white or gray with random black splotches on the screen.
  • The entire screen is all full of random pixels.

Even with a defective display, you should be able to take pictures normally and download them to your PC. You simply won't be able to review the pictures on the camera.

I offer the following repair service for the K-brand V803 / V1003 Camera:

    V803 / V1003 LCD Replacement (w/New LCD *installed*) - $45.00 USD + return shipping.

Please feel free to fill out a Repair Request/Quote Form, which is located at the bottom of the left-hand menu. I'll be more than happy to discuss your GPS problem with you and attempt to offer a possible solution to have the problem resolved.

WARNING!!! Taking your camera apart requires the right tools. There is an internal flex ribbon cable for the LCD screen. This cable is very delicate and it can be torn easily if you're not careful. In addition, the cameras contain components that are very sensitive to static discharges and can be damaged without using the proper grounding techniques. Please do not attempt to make this repair yourself unless your are qualified to do so. I have received numerous emails from people who have permanently damaged their camera! Save yourself the aggravation and possible damage to your camera by allowing me to repair your camera for you.
