Our tips are provided as a courtesy by SHARCNET-USA. The intention of these tips are to help GPS owners solve simple problems without having to waste valuable time on hold with the manufacturer and/or send their unit back to the factory.

These tips were compiled as a result of performing literally hundreds of GPS bench repairs.

We hope that you will find these tips useful and direct anyone with similar problems back to our site.

We've however found several of our tips plagiarized and posted on other sites. In fact, we found several individuals who submitted our tips, word for word, to other sites and got paid for them. We feel this is wrong and nothing less than stealing.

We have user accounts on many forums around the web and constantly search each day to see if our tips or any of our information from our SHARCNET-USA website has been reposted elsewhere without our permission.

SHARCNET-USA will aggressively have these posting removed. In many cases, the violator's account has been terminated on the offending sites.

Please always ask for our permission before copying anything from this site or the SHARCNET-USA site and reposting it elsewhere.

Please do not post problems in the "Tips" area. There is a specific area on this forum just for problems.

Thank you.
SHARCNET-USA
