SHARCNET-USA only uses NEW parts that meet or exceed the original manufacturer's parts. The components that we use have been researched and tested by our Senior Engineer and have an excellent and proven track record for trouble-free operation. We do not charge a fee for diagnosing / looking over a unit. If we determine that a customers unit can not be repaired, we will provide a full refund, minus a minimum charge to cover the return shipping back to the customer. Repair warranty information can be found here [HERE].

    We prefer payment via money order or cashier's check. This eliminates the delay in waiting for a personal check to clear the bank and it allows us to ship your GPS or parts back to you quickly without delay. Please email us to obtain the "payable to" information. US Postal Service Money Orders and Canadian Postal Money Orders (in USD) and cash is also acceptable.

    We also accept payments by PayPal, however PayPal charges us a fee for each transaction. So, if you want to pay via PayPal, please add $2.00 to the above prices to cover all fees. For payments coming from outside of the United States, PayPal also charges a currency conversion fee, so please email us so we can discuss the payment terms.

    Please be advised that if you pay through PayPal via E-check, it may take 6-10 days before your check clears and we will be unable to send back your GPS or parts until then. PayPal payments via credit card are immediate and do not require a waiting period.

    If you have multiple problems with your GPS, please let us know. Once we have your unit opened, we can sometimes offer a discount on multiple repairs. We can also update your firmware at no extra charge.

    In addition, you are getting back your own, not another refurbished unit. All of your prior settings, "favorites", MP3 & picture files will be left intact. You will not lose any of your settings or files.

    You won't be dealing with third parties like sales reps, managers or receptionists. We will be the one repairing your GPS and you'll have the opportunity to have a personal one-on-one conversation with us as we go through the process of determining the problem with your GPS and how to go about getting it repaired.

    All defective parts (except for touchscreens) are returned to the customer unless specified otherwise.

    Due to liability issues, SHARCNET-USA no longer offers replacement parts for sale and we are not able to provide [DIY] (do-it-yourself) repair information. We highly recommend that you allow us to repair your GPS/Camera for you. All of our repairs are covered by a full 90-day warranty. We do not possess schematics, interconnects, block diagrams or service manuals for any of the products that we service.

    WE DO NOT OFFER MAP UPGRADES! - YOU MUST PURCHASE A MAP UPGRADE FROM THE MANUFACTURER!


    WARNING!!! Taking your GPS apart requires the right tools. There are internal flex ribbon cables for the antenna, touch screen and LCD screen. These cables are very delicate and can be torn easily if you're not careful. The antenna flex ribbon cable runs through the swivel antenna shaft and is very delicate. In addition, these devices contain components that are sensitive to static discharges and can be damaged without using the proper grounding techniques. Please do not attempt to make this repair yourself unless your are qualified to do so. We have received numerous emails from people who have gouged and cracked their GPS's case and permanently damaged their GPS's LCD screen and antenna! Save yourself the aggravation and possible damage to your GPS by allowing us to repair your GPS /Camera for you.
